The Ministry of Health (MOH) has stated that the nine Ghanaians who have been so far tested for the deadly coronavirus have been negative.  

According to the statement released by the MOH, there have been nine suspected cases of the Coronavirus in Ghana but all of them have tested negative. “As at 6th February 2020, there has been 28,280 confirmed cases and 565 deaths globally. Here in Ghana, we have recorded nine suspected cases including the recent two from Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. All of these cases have tested negative,” the statement read.

With this, Ghanaians can heave a sigh of relief as all these cases have tested negative, although the people must still be on guard. Fear and panic gripped Ghanaians in the morning of 6th February when it was reported that two suspected cases of deadly coronavirus have been recorded at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on 5th February.
