 The Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame is conceptualized as a grouping of selected current and former Chairmen and Chairpersons in Ghana’s Business Sector who are actively working, retired or are nearing retirement, but whose accomplishments deserve to be recognized and celebrated for posterity.

The cocktail event will also be attended by a few specially selected invitees comprising Ministers of Economic Sector Ministries, CEOs of business facilitation/regulatory agencies, ambassadors of Ghana’s main development partner countries and a few top tier media CEOs or editors.

 

The Business Executive (TBE), the event organizer; a leading specialized publication organization, that covers the economy, business, finance, investment, diplomacy, tourism, and socio-economic development issues which is circulated and read in the West African sub-region, through our unique collaborations with:

  • Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FEWACCI),
  • Business Council for Africa (BCA),
  • Industry and other continental professional associations.

 

THE EVENT

It’s strictly by invitation, and open to only CEOs who doubles as Chairmen and/or Chairpersons who are INDUCTEES, and their guests. Members are selected based on the evaluation and assessment of our team of expert technical consultants all of whom have followed the evolution and history of corporate Ghana’s leadership since the liberalization of the Ghanaian economy during the second half of the 1980s. Consequently, membership is strictly by invitation from The Business Executive Limited although Founding Members of the Hall will be entitled to nominate members for later induction, after the upcoming induction.

RATIONALE 

The purpose of the Hall is to recognize and celebrate your professional accomplishments and to provide a forum to collectively contribute to the growth and development of corporate Ghana by providing your knowledge and experience to both successors at the helm of the corporate sector and public policymakers/implementers. This would be done through collective formal suggestions, recommendations, perspectives and insights into good corporate governance, corporate strategy, legal compliance, financing structures, etc. which would be presented to formal associations of corporate Ghana and Government of Ghana through the Hall of Fame.

 

The theme for the executive gathering is: “Leadership in Ghana – Boldness, Influence and Vulnerability”.
