Farouk Khailann, International Partner for Ghana

World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF), one of the world’s leading enablers of business funding opportunities, has announced the appointment of Farouk Khailann as International Partner for Ghana. 

Farouk Khailann will represent Ghana at the Grand Assembly of the World Business Angels Investment Forum. With this new appointment, Ghana has joined the largest forum of the world’s equity investment markets and will now be able to connect more with the global investors market, which will open up splendid opportunities for the country.

Ghanaian angel investors, incubation centres, accelerators, private equity funds, co-investment funds, technology parks, corporate ventures and aspiring entrepreneurs will have more opportunities to connect with global leaders in the same field.

The inclusion of Ghana in WBAF provides a wide range of funding opportunities for Ghanaian start-ups, scale ups and high growth businesses translating into economic development.

Farouk khailann is the CEO of Premium Africa Holdings, an Africa focused investment holding company with assets and projects in Ghana, Liberia, Gambia and Sierra Leone.

In March 2019, Premium Africa Holdings established an office in UAE to augment its efforts in driving investments from UAE to Africa.

Premium Africa holdings has also partnered with American music star Akon for his Akon Lighting Africa project in Liberia.

He is also the Secretary General for Global Chamber of Business Leaders and serves on boards of various organizations in Ghana.

He was named by the West Africa Leadership Development Centre as one of the top ten emerging leaders in West Africa and adjudged the young entrepreneur of the year for 2019.

Farouk Khailann was awarded the Order of the Noble Hand of Honor by the Pan African Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Centre in September 2019, alongside the Vice President of Liberia and other global leaders.
