The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Invest Barbados to establish a practical framework for the creation of a strategic alliance.

This, according to the GIPC, would promote and increase trade, investment, as well as business development opportunities between Ghana and Barbados.

Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Ama Dokua Asiamah and the CEO of Invest Barbados, Kaye Greenidge, signed the MoU on behalf of both countries.

GIPC’s Head of Investor Services, Edward Ashong Lartey, and the Chargé d’Affaires of the High Commission of Barbados in Ghana were also present at the signing event, as well as officers from the GIPC’s Legal, Corporate Affairs and PR divisions.
