A cocktail was held at Villa Monticello Hotel at Roman Ridge in Accra on 22nd February, 2020 to inaugurate the Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame.
The premier inductees are Mr. Kwasi Abeasi, Chairperson of the Board of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) and former Managing Director of Agricultural development Bank and Executive Director of Private Enterprises Federation (PEF); and Dr. Felix Anyah, CEO of Holy Trinity Medical Centre and former CEO of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
The others are Dr. Daniel McKorley, Board Chairperson of Trade Fair Centre and Group CEO of the McDan Group of Companies; Dr. Nortey Omaboe, Executive Chairman of GCNet; and Mr. Falal Fattal, CEO of Caesar’s Court and former CEO of Metro TV.
The rest are Mr. Roman Krabel, the General Manager of Accra City Hotel; Mr. Aheto Abiola Tsegah, Chairman of Unicom Chemist; Dr. Edem Kojo Hiadzi, CEO of Lister Hospital; and Mr. Bernard Joseph, CEO/Director of Sunshine Healthcare. Mr. Abeasi was selected to be the President of the Hall of Fame.
The Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame is conceptualized by The Business Executive Ltd. and its partners as a grouping of select current and former Chairpersons of Boards of Directors and Executive Chairpersons of companies.
The Hall of Fame is also made up of top-level CEOs in Ghana’s Business Sector who are actively working, have retired or are nearing retirement, but whose accomplishments deserve to be recognized and celebrated. The Hall of famers are also to serve as role models.
The impressive event was attended by a few specially selected invitees comprising some CEOs, diplomats and senior public officials. Below are photos of the inaugural ceremony.
