More accomplished business, industry and commerce giants in Ghana will be inducted into Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra on 30th August, 2024.

The induction, which is the 8th of the Corporate Hall of Fame series, is being organized to recognize the achievements of seasoned captains who have excelled in their respective sectors of business, industry and commerce in Ghana. About 30 reputable individuals in the Ghanaian corporate space are expected to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The inauguration is on the theme: ‘Corporate and institutional governance during an era of economic restructuring.’ Founded in 2020, Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame is a prominent group of corporate/institutional board chairpersons, top-level executive and non-executive board members who were brought together by The Business Executive Ltd., a pan-African media and events company whose motto is ‘Custodians of the corporate world.’

Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame serves as a public policy advocacy and business strategy think tank. In addition, the Hall of Fame is a business leadership networking platform and a management capacity building vehicle for the advancement of the cause of corporate Ghana.

The membership of the Hall of Fame is made up of an elite grouping which is derived from a comprehensive and competitive selection process that identifies exemplary professional and personal capacities and capabilities, accomplishments, experience and conduct that set the members apart from and above their peers. It has over 200 members.

Ing. Kwesi Abeasi is the president of Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame. The Advisory Council of the Hall is responsible for:

  • Advising on the capacity building events to be organized by and on behalf of the members of the Hall of Fame;
  • Advising on the expertise and experience sharing and dissemination activities to be carried by the Hall of Fame on behalf of its members;
  • Advising on the networking events to be organized by and on behalf of the members of the Hall of Fame;
  • Advising on the public policy advocacy initiatives to be pursued by members of the Hall of Fame on behalf of the broader corporate Ghana; and
  • Advising on the nature and scope of any collective corporate social responsibility activities to be carried out by the Hall of Fame.

To carry out its responsibilities, the Advisory Council is required to work in collaboration with the wider membership of the Hall of Fame and with the Hall’s dedicated secretariat which will be placed at its disposal in a facilitation capacity.

The initiators of the Hall of Fame, Business Executive Group Ltd., an Accra-based Pan-African events management and media organization with a subsidiary in Nigeria, NG Buzz Executive Ltd., and affiliates in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The Business Executive magazine is Ghana’s leading special general-purpose publication which covers areas such as the economy, diplomacy, tourism, education, religion, sports, and similar sectors and affairs in Ghana, and the rest of Africa in particular, and in the world in general.

The magazine is published by The Business Executive Ltd.
