The fashion sense of the crème de la crème of celebrities in the world was massively, grotesquely and subtly exhibited during this year’s 62nd Annual Grammy Awards which was held on 26th January, 2020 at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, U.S., which has hosted the Grammys since 2000 (with the exception of 2003 and 2018).
It was a somber occasion, with the fashionista-struck stars appearing on stage below the retired jerseys of Kobe Bryant, who was killed in a helicopter crash earlier on that day. An aplomb Alicia Keys serenely sang a cappella version of ‘It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday’ with Boyz II Men in a tribute to the much-beloved Bryant, the retired NBA player with the Lakers.
Tragedy aside, the usual fashion display by the glitterati of stars was awesome, with simple wears, moderates or weirdoes. The photographs below tell the story.
