Twenty-one companies and individuals from different countries were honored at the Africa Global Trade & Investment Awards which took place in Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 27th March 2021.

The awards are uniquely designed to identify and publicly recognize enterprises and their owners/CEOs all around the continent whose exemplary track records of accomplishment and proven capacities to deliver on their end of international trade and investment transactions and longer term relationships, make them excellent trade and investment counterparties in Africa.

It is also to identify and publicly recognize Africans in the diaspora who are interested in serving as investment partners and/or trade counterparties to such African enterprises; as well as exemplary public officials from some African countries who are key in facilitating such relationships.

The awardees are from Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Gambia and Nigeria; and included B5 Plus Limited, Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, Charger Limited – Ghana; Ethiopian Airlines – Ethiopia; Start-up Grind Banjul – Gambia; Xpress Rent-a-Car – Tanzania; Kwetu Sacco – Kenya; and Global Property & Facilities International Ltd. – Nigeria.

The awards were organized by The Business Executive Limited, an Accra-based Pan-African events and media organization and publishers of The Business Executive, the leading magazine which covers the economy, business, finance, investment and socio-economic development issues in Ghana, West Africa and the rest of Africa in particular, and similar sectors and affairs in the world in general.
